The 'Lions' is an international organisation that has many local branches. The Rothwell District Lions is aiming to raise thousands of pounds for a local organisation called Hannah House, a respite centre for severely mentally handicapped children, as well as funds for the national helpline 'Childline'.
BlueDucks has provided Rothwell Lions with the necessary key donation to establish it's first annual bike race, which is attracting over 250 sponsored riders.
