Just over a year ago 2 young British entrepreneurs began a new adventure (see www.tribewanted.com), where, with an island Chief’s support, they intended to allow individuals from the so-called ‘developed’ world share ideas, ways of living and life itself with a small group of islanders on Vorovoro, just off Fiji.
The eco-community had an idea and, when approached with a unique opportunity, BlueDucks didn’t have a second thought about responding to the chance to co-fund the provision of eco-electricity to the Mali school where the children of the island went.
The school is now up and running. What a bright idea all round!
