Someone we know has trouble climbing 2 flights of stairs without huffing and puffing (no, seriously), so when they announced they were doing the 3 Peaks Challenge within 3 months we were as encouraging as possible .... but a little concerned. Three months, 23 hours and 17 minutes later we were amazed that our sizeable donation was collected. Congratulations to all those who completed the Challenge, but especially to someone special. You are officially amazing!
Of course there's always someone who wants to go that little bit further, but to cycle 224 miles, swim 5 miles and run 52 miles just seems impossible. But it's not .... so we were pleased to sponsor a member of the Co-operative Financial Services team to complete a double triathlon. We're still tired just thinking about it!
